While the letter X can represent a chromosome... or a single kiss, this work reflects on the use of X in maths and physics to represent the “unknown” – along with it being a position in space where two points intersect. This could be considered a meeting place of the mind during a period of contemplation on the questions we ask of each other – and how we create meaning around our own worlds.

The work was originally created in 2016 during my MFA studies at UNSW, Australia. In 2020, it was recreated for an outer gallery install in Los Angeles.
