The seemingly contradictory use of words within the work is left open for the viewer to interpret. Here, or not here? There, or not there? One state might imply that you have ‘arrived’ somewhere – whilst the other might suggest there is actually no other place to be. We could also view them as the same ‘state’ by removing the passage of distance and time between (thought).
